I remember beginning to connect with people and built friendships over social media. Many of those friendships are still going strong today. I’m in introvert that has a hard time making friends,… Read more

Strength

I will get stronger, understanding that a body composition effort does require a slowdown in strength increases.

Continue to work on core lifts as well as building in work that will drive aesthetics goals heavily focused on shoulders, chest, and arms.

6 Years ago, I weighed over 400 pounds and was approaching death. My lowest weight was 230. My present weight sits around 270.

I will build the body I’ve wanted all my life. I will be hard muscled, strong, and athletic. I will have the big arms, big pecs and shoulders, and big calves I want as my ideal body. I will lose body fat and build muscle, building the aesthetics I want.

This is definitely understood to be a long term goal and not something that will happen overnight. It’s also something I am ready to work towards with all my might and bring it to fruition.

Body weight != Body Fat, so I also understand this will neither be a linear process nor will it always be easy.

I will get outside, I will move fast, I will become the athlete and the superhero that I am. I am my own hero!

More To Be Determined

Prioritize recovery and utilize data to achieve awesomeness. I believe data can help us to achieve our best selves by us understanding our bodies, how we respond to stimulus, and enable us to respond.

Track the following biometrics:

  • Resting Heart Rate
  • VO₂ Max
  • Weight
  • Bodyfat %
  • Sleep
  • Heart Rate Variability
  • Blood Oxygen (SpO2)
  • Weight Lifted

By prioritizing recovery, utilizing data, and working hard, I can achieve my goals.

Habits

Effort Over Everything

I will build habits that will drive performance and success. Hydration. Vitamins. Walking throughout the day. As habits get built, I will build more habits, each building on the next, building into great success.

“Motivation is Temporary. Discipline is permanent.”

Life

Life is meant to be lived. Fitness is meant to drive my life and let be accomplish the things I want to do in life.

I will embrace my gaming self and play more video games. I will embrace my creative self and draw. I will embrace my sharing self and stream on Twitch. I will embrace my writer self and write more stories. I will embace my nerd self and write D&D campaigns. I will embrace myself and be true to who I am, and use fitness to enable all that I am and will be.
